Youth Work Norway

Youth Work Norway (Ungdom og Fritid) is a national, non-profit organisation representing more than 700 youth clubs across Norway.

We organise seminars and courses in the field of youth work, aimed at young people, professionals, and volunteers.

Ungdom og Fritid also develops and publishes relevant professional literature and works to coordinate and strengthen education and training for youth workers. Our goal is to increase both the quality and the professional recognition of youth work. As members of the organisation, youth clubs gain access to information, campaign materials, and activity equipment at reduced costs.

To ensure that all children and young people under the age of 18 have access to a local youth club, and to further develop and improve existing youth clubs, we have for several years advocated for youth clubs to be established as a statutory service. This demand is supported by many young people, youth workers, organisations, and politicians.
